It was Mahatma Gandhi that said "Be the change that you wish for the world". In keeping with this thought, we both have volunteered for communuity outreach organizations in the various communities that we have lived.
In the past, Rex has volunteered as a Sexual Violence Prevention Educator for a county rape crisis program. In doing this work, he made over 40-presentations to over 1,000 High School and Middle School students. With this same organization, both Judy and Rex volunteered as rape crisis 24-hour hot line counselors.
Currently, Judy is a member of the Board of Directors of
Mystis -- a community outreach program with the stated purpose of educating mother and child in conscious parenting and developing a support network.
